THE MOST VERSATILE OF THE STATION, ACCORDING TO THE GENERAL MANAGER AT UNIVISION 41

In 2013, I took a brief internship at Univision and in 2014 I graduated from The University of the Incarnate Word with a B.A. in Bilingual Communications.

Once at Univision in 2015, my duties were mostly helping the production team, but KWEX allowed me to learn many aspects of how a TV station runs, including participate in news from photographer, editor and technical director.

10 years later

I’ve interviewed politicians, artists, athletes; covered breaking and hard news, including local and state elections, covid-19 stories, one of the first media arrivals hours at Uvalde, immigration stories, New Year, collaborations with network, etc.

I also produced entertainment shows and specials,

wrote articles for social media, served as mentor for interns, coached business owners for TV, helped organize community events with clients, music bands, etc.

A recap of the events for the San Antonio Hispanic community that I helped plan and execute during 2022,

after Pandemic restrictions the two previous years. Most of this footage was also recorded by me

MADE HISTORY BROADCASTING THE NBA

As an Assistant Producer,

I was part of the team that broadcasted

the first ever NBA games in Spanish

in a local channel in the history of

the United States.

Also editing the subtitles in Spanish for Spurs official documentaries.
